Our Philosophy - Pilates for Every “Body”
Puns aside we genuinely want every person, no matter their shape or size, to feel like they belong at our studio. We are realistic and understand our space won’t be for everyone and that’s okay we'd love for you to come along and try it out. If you resonate with us we want you to join us. If not, we hope you find a studio that’s right for you.
Arrive at our studio and you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smile even at 6am! Time at the studio should be 100% devoted to ‘me time’ and we encourage clients to make a priority of giving back to themselves.
Every ‘body’ is different and we have created an environment where clients feel totally at ease and comfortable the moment they walk in the door.
Come on in and we’ll show you around – if you’re coming in for a Pilates Intro we’ll show you the studio and apparatus, get to know you and your body, and run through the fundamentals of Pilates. We know how daunting the first visit to a new studio can be so we want to set you up for success from the first time you walk into the group environment, ensuring you’ll feel at ease and know what to expect.
Trish discovered Pilates following a running injury. Prior to finding her love for teaching Pilates she spent almost 30 years working in the insurance industry.
An impromptu trip to a wellness retreat led to the discovery it was time for a change and thus her journey as a Pilates Teacher began. Trish likes to think of herself as an average girl with a zest for living life to the fullest. She has found teaching Pilates to be a rewarding and fulfilling experience especially when witnessing her students achieving something they thought they couldn’t do. Trish achieves a great sense of satisfaction watching her clients grow stronger and can honestly say she absolutely loves what she does every day. This was the motivation behind opening Stretch Wellness and Trish is excited to share the journey with like minded clients who want to give back to themselves. In addition to teaching at Stretch Wellness, Trish also teaches at Leichhardt Sports Physiotherapy in a clinical environment - www.leichhardtphysio.com.au.

Trish previously taught at Umoya Studio, a boutique Pilates studio in Summer Hill.
